I am about to turn 32, I have been using an eye cream since I was 12 ( so I know a good one when I use it )  I know a lot of you probably think 12 is too early but I have NO regrets I have amazing looking skin around my eyes I am constantly getting compliments on how my face ( especially around my eyes ) is so smooth and wrinkle free. I credit this to looking after myself ( sunscreen, water, diligent  skincare routine, I cleanse tone and moisturise morning and night. Sent out all 4 to try for myself firstly I want to say thank you Kai, you brightened my day. Also how fitting are the packaging and label designs . Opting  for option 2 using the clay bath guidelines in the instruction booklet  on how much and how often to use. I did my detox once a week over a month and still had some left over for the odd foot bath.LL’s really do think of it all before I had a chance to show the hubster my kit he aired his concerns about it staining the bath, clogging the pipes making me feel unwell etc needless to say all concerns were  quickly put to rest upon inspection on his part of the kit. LL’s had provided everything needed for a smooth ride or should I say bath!! No clogged pipes, no stains on the bath whatsoever ( our pipes are really old too ) After testing my PH ( using the strips provided and my saliva ) I was ok for a full tub rather than just a foot soak. Combining all the dry ingredients and mixing them well I was ready to get started. After prepping my tub ( so easy ) I measured out 1 cup of clay the first time to ease myself into it.( upping the level of clay by half a cup with each consecutive bath) After wet mixing the clay  to ensure no clumps were present ( clumped clay is not as efficient as clay that has been properly hydrated) I gave myself a dry brush down with a loofah then  hopped in and relaxed for 20 mins. The warm water opened up my pores and the clay/botanical mix got to work drawing out impurities, I drank about a litre of water while I was in the bath to keep me hydrated ( personal choice ) Once I got out of the bath I slathered on a natural moisturizer put on my robe  then got acquainted  with a big pot of peppermint tea relaxing on the couch. I had a total of 4 baths over a month and found  I got a slight headache with a hint of nausea, nothing too bad I have had worse headaches from detoxing off sugar! I take headaches as a GOOD sign that the detox is working so I just waited it out rather than popping aspirin. I got a slight pull from my groin to my knee on my right leg I put that down to having a lot of lymph nodes removed last year I am used to it and get it from time to time anyway so I was not put off by it. BEFORE ESSENSITY - see how dark it is

After pre lightening my hair using Essensity’s  Lightening Cream & Powder Lightener, mixed with the Essensity Developer ( pre lightened to yellow with the Essensity bleach and 5.5%)I was very happy, having never lightened my own hair before (I have however been in the presence of  a head full of bleach which can be quite overpowering.) I was not sure what to expect. I can quite happily say  that there was no irritating fumes, overpowering smells, or scalp irritation at all. I cropped this pic because I have the most ridiculous look on my face.

Then the first colour was added   ( The copper tone is 7-77 – best described as a medium blonde depth, intense copper tone.) washed out  then blow-dried with the  “Colour Leave In Mask” . I was not so sure of the colour to begin with but within a short space of time I was in love………. so much so guess who jumped at the chance to mess around with the colour some more by trying some shade variations….. hmmmm that’s right ME!!

* I wouldn’t use it on my heaviest day if I was out and about as it is not the most discreet thing to clean in a public toilet. ( my solution to that is to but 2 or 3 cups and carry a spare, put used Miacup in a          plastic bag, seal it, then pop in storage bag. OR don’t wash it, you don’t have to wash it every time )

* Needs lubricant on very light days.

* Can be daunting to insert at first ( don’t let that stop you, remember the first time you tried a tampon – now that is daunting )

I am still doing the detox so today I will write about my life changing experiences whilst using the topical magnesium . I could not think of a better candidate than my entire household to try these products out on. I used the lotion firstly on myself  I found it to be easily absorbed by my skin without leaving a residue behind. I LOVE LIME so much so that I found it hard to resist the urge to nibble  my arm after rubbing on some “Tropical Bliss”  Body Creme . Super thick and nourishing whilst remaining non greasy is a definite plus for me . Wow this one came in 2nd for me I could smell the cinnamon ( love cinnamon ) and apples. I would eat this one  anytime of the day but if I was in a hurry to get to work and had run out of time to have breakfast I would eat this one for sure.
