Now that’s what I am talking about!!!!!
Ok now that I have told you about all the good things Alaffia do let me tell you a bit about some of the products they make.
As I have dry hair I thought I would try the Shea & Honey Nourishing Shampoo. Handmade with our traditional, African Black Soap for gentle, natural cleansing. African wild honey imparts glossiness and scalp health, while rooibos tea encourages new hair growth and improves overall condition. I took a real shining to this shampoo you can really smell the rooibos tea with a slight hint of Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange & Petitgrain essential oils. All natural and free from nasty chemicals means for some it may take awhile for your hair to detox, for me though as I don’t use products containing nasties I found it to foam up nicely, clean efficiently without over stripping my hair of its natural oils.
I followed up the shampoo with Alaffia’s Shea & Honey Nourishing Conditioner it is so thick it is almost like a hair mask it nourished my hair from root to tip. When my hair dried it was sleek with incredible body. I particularly liked that it did not weigh my hair down neither did it give me the dreaded “I just washed my hair look it’s fluffy look”. Also on my list of products to try was the
Shea Butter Body Milk I chose the Vanilla Almond blend. It was easily absorbed by my skin even though it is a super thick cream. Leaving no oily residue my skin was super smooth and smelt so good I smelt like an Orange & Vanilla cake made on almond meal. Is it wrong to want to eat your arm? I myself would most definitely buy all of these products again, which is a good thing because Alaffia ship worldwide. An added bonus – FREE Shipping on all orders over $50, if shipped within the continental United States!!
