Green tea bath bags

October 22, 2008 |

Not only are these green tea bath bags are easy to make, but green tea is great for the skin, as the the polyphenols in green tea have anti-inflammatory properties.

1 cup Green tea leaves
1/4 cup Lavender buds
1/8 cup Chamomile flowers
4 tbs Dried lemon peel
8 drops Bergamot essential oil
5 drops Chamomile essential oil
3 drops Green tea fragrance
Tea bags

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Use empty tea bags and fill the bags with 2 tablespoons of the mixture and tie off. Or use a circle of muslin, drawn up and finished off with a ribbon.

You can make your own tea bag sachets by slicing open a regular tea bag and pouring out the tea leaves and replacing it with your own mix, then simply use a non toxic craft glue to close the bag back up again.

Place 2 tea bags into a bath of Warm water to enjoy this uplifting detoxing soak.
