Luv4Country - Wine and RosesBryna from Luv4Country Soaps was so kind to send me some samples of her products to try out. Let me tell you lovies – these are some fabulista products!

Of course when the package arrived at my front door my merry gang of Oompa Loompas happened to be home at the same time. Anytime something arrives in a box they know that it’s either art supplies or “smellie things” as they say. As it was a warm day the scents were wafting out of the box before it was even opened….entrancing them and I had no choice but to open it right before their glazed eyes.

The first bar was a Pine Tar Soap that Byrna had sent for my son who suffers from eczema year round. My first thought was…”Oh, Pine Tar Soap. EWW!” However!! When I smelled the soap I was beyond surprised because this Pine Tar Soap doesn’t have the EWW! factor whatsoever! I let my son Micah smell it without saying anything about it and he LOVED it and deemed it his own. He has been using the Pine Tar Soap whenever he bathes or washes his hands and we are so impressed with the results. Micah’s skin is not left dried out as with other soaps we’ve tried and while the eczema on the back of his knees is still healing it is not weeping and his hands are almost cleared. My feeling is that the Pine Tar Soap used with the body butter I make for him and Luv4Country’s Healing Salve is really helping! Pine Tar Soap….YAY!!

Hippy Hippy Shake SoapThe next bar of soap was singing my name. Hippy Hippy Shake Soap. I am by far not a Hippy but anything that has a Patchouli base is pretty much in the running with me. This is one beautiful bar of soap, with teal, pink and white all swirled throughout. It has a deep Patchouli base, the Sandalwood gently comes through without overwhelming and then there is a very subtle hint of spice. The scent wraps itself around you like a sensuous blanket of velvet. There are times when I go into the bathroom just to take a whiff of the soap. Did I mention that this soap is also made with sheepsmilk & tussah silk? Well it is and when you get out of the shower your skin feels divine!

To my daughter’s delight the last bar of soap was the Raspberry Bombe. You guessed it. Zoe deemed this her soap since it smells “like a pink girlie soap.” This is a beautiful pink bar of soap that smells like a dreamy field of fresh raspberries covered by fluffy clouds – not like a sticky jar of jelly! Also made with sheepsmilk and tussa silk Zoe has fallen in love with “her” soap and has already put in her request for another bar as soon as this one is gone.

Luv4Country-Healing SalveThe last item was this cute tin of Healing Salve. This salve is formulated with emu oil, hempseed oil, olive butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, allantoin, vitamin e, tea tree and lavender essential oils. It’s a perfect combination for headaches due to stress, being on the computer too long, screechy kidlets, or whatever is causing your head to pound! Cuts, bruises, burns and skin irritations (eczema included) are also helped by the wonderful ingredients in this little pot of gold.

There you have it! I’m now a fan of Luv4Country Soaps and I bet if you try Bryna’s products you’ll be one too! (There’s more than just soaps at Luv4Country!!)
