This festive Christmas roundup is all about peppermint. I love buying a new essential oil or fragrance oil and having several ideas lined up for how to make the most items with that one oil. I have included over 30 recipes for bath and beauty items that all use peppermint. Of course, peppermint and candy canes are very popular scents coming into the holiday season.
I don’t like candy canes, basically because I can never unwrap them, but I do love peppermint and the scent of peppermint. In fact, I use Peppermint essential oil 
in my oil diffuser all year round. It freshens the house and clears my head.
But peppermint oil isn’t just about clearing your head, Peppermint oil naturally cleanses the skin and has antiseptic and antibacterial properties too. Some of these recipes call for candy canes
and some use peppermint oil
or peppermint essence
. You can also use Candy cane fragrance oil
if that scents suit you too.
So many of these festive holiday recipes can be made in bulk and packaged up in mason jars to give to friends and family. One of my favorite recipes here, has to be the candy cane loofah
bars, they would be so cute in my guest bathroom for the Holiday season.

Here are some essential oil blends using peppermint oil for Christmas scents:
Peppermint Mocha:
3 drops peppermint oil
2 drops cocoa absolute
2 drops vanilla oil
Winter Wonderland:
3 drops peppermint oil
3 drops fir needle oil
2 drops cinnamon bark oil
Candy Cane Lane:
4 drops peppermint oil
2 drops sweet orange oil
1 drop cinnamon bark oil
Spiced Peppermint:
3 drops peppermint oil
2 drops nutmeg oil
2 drops ginger oil
Holiday Mint:
4 drops peppermint oil
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops frankincense oil
Remember to always dilute essential oils properly and test on a small area of skin before use.
