DIY Halloween Cauldron and Jack O Lantern Bath Bombs

September 27, by Shellie Wilson. Leave a Comment

This tutorial or DIY recipe shows you how to make your own Halloween Bath Bomb of Bath Fizzy. The thing thats makes these so much fun for Halloween is that you can use a witches cauldron or a Jack o lantern container. These Halloween Cauldrons and Lanterns are available at dollar stores and craft stores.  They make great Halloween gifts.

To make your own Fizzing cauldron you will need.

What you need

2 witches cauldrons or Jack o Lanterns

1 1/2 cups of Baking soda or Bicarbonate of Soda

1/2 cup of Citric acid
2 -5 tsp of Almond Oil or Apricot kernel oil
1/2 – 2 tbs of Water
5 drops of Food coloring
10-15 drops of Fragrance oil or essential oil

(Bath bomb recipe via Craftbits.com)

Instructions

Combine the dry ingredients in bowl and stir until well mixed.

Drizzle in the almond oil and stir until mixture is moistened. Add more oil and fragrance and stir until well mixed.

Then add the water. If mixture is crumbly then add more oil or a dash of water.

Then press in to the Witches Cauldron or Jack O lantern container.

Allow to dry for a few days before using. To use simply drop the whole thing in the bath tub. You can check out our video on facebook of them in action.

So this year it is all about the Talking interactive Jack o Lantern, have you seen it? What do you think? A great addition to the Halloween themed porch?  My kids talk a lot, so I am not sure I need a talking Jack o Lantern too.
