This fun Halloween bath bomb tutorial shows you how to turn an ordinary bath fizzy recipe into a spooky seasonal gift using miniature witch’s cauldrons and jack-o’-lantern containers.
The containers are what make this project so much fun. Small plastic cauldrons, pumpkin buckets and jack-o’-lantern favour cups are often available from dollar stores, party shops and craft stores in the lead-up to Halloween. Instead of using a traditional round bath bomb mould, the bath bomb mixture is packed directly into the Halloween container, creating a ready-to-gift bath fizzy with plenty of personality.
These Halloween bath bombs are a creative alternative to candy and are perfect for party favours, teacher gifts, Halloween hampers, sleepovers or a spooky self-care night at home. They are also a lovely option when you need a non-food Halloween treat.

To make your own Fizzing cauldron you will need.
What you need
2 witches cauldrons or Jack o Lanterns
1 1/2 cups of Baking soda or Bicarbonate of Soda
1/2 cup of Citric acid
2 -5 tsp of Almond Oil or Apricot kernel oil
1/2 – 2 tbs of Water
5 drops of Food coloring
10-15 drops of Fragrance oil or essential oil
(Bath bomb recipe via Craftbits.com)
Instructions
Combine the dry ingredients in bowl and stir until well mixed.
Drizzle in the almond oil and stir until mixture is moistened. Add more oil and fragrance and stir until well mixed.
Then add the water. If mixture is crumbly then add more oil or a dash of water.

Then press in to the Witches Cauldron or Jack O lantern container.

Allow to dry for a few days before using. To use simply drop the whole thing in the bath tub. You can check out our video on facebook of them in action.

So this year it is all about the Talking interactive Jack o Lantern, have you seen it? What do you think? A great addition to the Halloween themed porch? My kids talk a lot, so I am not sure I need a talking Jack o Lantern too.
