Wellbeing – 8 Steps To Being Confident

As Women and Mothers we tend to lose our way sometimes. Our bodies change with age and with kids. It’s hard to feel confident in everyday life.

Confidence is like water, you really can’t go too long without it. Without the confidence in ones beliefs, parenting, style and body one can not function with a clear head. I am speaking from my own experience of course but I am sure you can relate to some of the things I am saying. As an example when you are in a room of people if you don’t feel confident in what you are wearing you mind will be distracted worrying about how it looks, how it feels etc. That distraction will prevent you from being “present” in the room. If we are not “present” then we miss out on life’s wonderful little joys. Not the big things like birthdays and milestones but the little joys such as seeing your kids push each other on the swings, laughing at your friends funny parenting downfall or watching a silly comedy show on T.V.

Confidence is important and something we should all strive to achieve.
