I can always find the greatest tutorials on Instructables.com, and I just found this great, kid-friendly spa/sleep mask.  The mask is simple enough that any tween should not have too much difficulty with the sewing.  Best of all, the mask features a pocket to slip an ice pack into for puffy eyes!  Find all the instructions here.
