30 DIY Recipes Using Ginger Essential Oil

October 16, 2022 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

This roundup of DIY bath and body recipes if for tutorials using Ginger. Ginger essential oil, Ginger powder or Fresh Ginger pupil.

Ginger Essential Oil is stimulating and warming making it great for soothing aches and pains. Ginger essential oil is one of my favorite warming stomach oils for upset stomach, but keep in mind it doesn’t smell like ginger, it has a very strong smell and for me it wasn’t pleasant, so use sparingly.

Ginger Essential oil contains anti-inflammatory benefits, making it perfect for inflamed responses in your immune system.  I have Ginger mixed with carrier oil as a topical sore throat remedy, as soon as I feel a tickle I use this oil on my throat to warm, soothe and reduce the inflammation.

When combined with a base massage oil and applied topically, the benefits of Ginger Essential Oil are known to ease aching joints, muscles, and arthritis. Ginger is widely used to alleviate nausea and indigestion.  Ginger also helps with mental fatigue and focus.

Ginger blends particularly well with Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clove, Coriander, Eucalyptus.

Ginger is a warm and spicy essential oil that blends exceptionally well with a variety of other essential oils, including Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clove, Coriander, and Eucalyptus. When paired with Bergamot, it creates a refreshing and uplifting scent that is perfect for a morning pick-me-up. When combined with Cedarwood, it provides a grounding and calming effect that can promote relaxation and reduce stress. Ginger and Clove create a warm and inviting aroma that is perfect for fall and winter seasons. Coriander and Eucalyptus pair well with ginger to provide a refreshing and invigorating scent that can be great for aromatherapy purposes. With such a wide range of options, ginger is a versatile essential oil that can be used in various blends to achieve different effects.
