There has been a lot of controversy over whether “monster spray” is appropriate. I know some of you are wondering what am I talking about right? Well, to have a spray for getting rid of Monsters we would then be admitting or confirming to the child that Monsters are actually “real”. So should we be chasing away the monsters or simply stating to our child that Monsters are not real? I know at 3 am in the morning a screaming child who thinks there is a monster in the room, would not appreciate or accept the rational of “monsters are not real”.
This Monster spray contains Lavender for calming the child and I love the vanilla which adds a hint of sweetness and familiarity to the child.
