Monica from the Swan Creek Soap Co has shared her amazing Chemosabe Soap ($3.50) recipe with all our DIY soap makers out there. Monica not only sells her soap in her amazing soap store but also donates bars of these soaps to Cancer patients. You can check out her facebook page for all the latest products.
Here is the recipe, its made for 16 oz of oils and makes about 6 bars of soap, so you can easily double it for a larger batch.
5.76 oz goats milk
2.1 oz lye
1.6 oz cocoa butter
1.6 oz coconut oil
6.4 oz lard
6.4 oz olive oil
I also added a tablespoon of buttermilk powder to add to the bubbles. The special part about this recipe was that I was able to get the cleansing number down to 7 while still having a very hard, conditioning bar which is exactly what you want for sensitive skin and it won’t take as long to cure as a 100% castille bar.

I would like make this for my daughter. But I want to do a hot process soap. When I put it through a lye calculator would I add superfat to it or has it already been figured in?
