When Spiralfoods sent us a sample of this Organic Coconut Sweet spread I could not wait to open the jar and taste it. I however did have to wait as I hurt my arm a few days before and could not open the jar no matter how much grunting noise I made. 2 days later I had though out my plan of attack on the taste testing process. I started with toast, just a small spread of this delightful sweet goodness on my toast was delicious. I swear I could feel the organic goodness dripping down my throat. (too dramatic?)
Surprisingly my children did not enjoy it in this raw state. It is VERY sweet and tastes like Palm sugar so it is very rich in it’s flavor.
They did however have no problem eating it when I popped it into a batch of cookies. I basically substituted 1/2 cup of peanut butter for 1/2 cup of Coconut spread. The cookies were nice and crunchy and were gone within minutes.
Organic Coconut Sweet spread is available in Supermarkets in Australia in the aisle with all the other coconut creams, milks etc. (usually Asian food)

Tap the edge of the lid with a metal spoon – it releases the seal and makes screw top jars easy to open 🙂
