DIY TIPS for Getting Out Knots in Hair
In the past, using a hair detangler spray usually found in local stores worked like a dream. Spray it on and the knots slicked out while slowly brushing. Now it seems those are few and hard to find. Once found, most of them do the job but are so sticky that it causes further issues once the knots are out. Here is a great homemade way to create a detangler spray from household items.
Get a small empty spray bottle. Fill it with water and add a few drops of conditioner. This can be a baby conditioner or even adult conditioner. Adult conditioners seem to work better though as their formulas are thicker. If the conditioner is scented, add enough to just barely catch a hint of the smell. Shake and mix and there it is; a detangler that is proven to work, cheap, easy to find, and without a sticky mess to deal with afterward.
