Not only do these mummies fit perfectly into little hands but with halloween just around the corner you know what that means……..that’s right sticky, sugar coated fingers! Never fear the kids will want to wash up often with these super cute “Marching Mummies”
Thanks to Christine @ How Do I Make Soap for sharing her Marching Mummies with CraftGossip. Here are a few tips from Christine to help you on your way.
“These soap mummies are made using a mini person silicone mold. This is a great versatile soap mold that can be used to make mini soaps or as embeds in other soap creations. The key to success in making these little mummies is coating them with the soap string. Soap must not be to hot or the soap will spread, let your soap cool to about 120 degrees and work quickly. Also try working in smaller batches of six when stringing the mummies. This will assure your soap doesn’t seize up on you too quickly.”
Oh! and if you are new to this you are probably wondering where you can go to buy everything to get started right? Check out How Do I Make Soap’s Online Etsy Store “Lather & Lotions Soap Making Supplies” they have everything you need there.
