Sometimes I purchase a new oil such as Rosehip oil for a particular recipe or soapmaking tutorial but then, of course, I am left with a bottle of excess oils. I have some essential oils that have expired because I just didn’t find a use for them, Basil oil and ginger oil are two I find hard to use, mainly because there smell is not pleasant to me.
So I have decided to create some roundups that are based on main ingredients so you have a plethora of recipes to chose from.
So what is so good about Rosehip oil? Well, I use mine directly on my skin, it is the one moisturizing agent that doesn’t clog my pores or cause a breakout. I once used it on sunburn and within 30 mins the pain had stopped and the sting is gone. It also calmed down the redness, I am super milky English white so red is like a lobster on me when I am burnt.
Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. Blemished skin, acne scars, stretch marks, and redness benefit from the active ingredients in Rose Hip Oil. The great thing about rosehip oil is that it’s suitable for all skin types, It is so gentle on the skin which makes it a great choice for people with eczema or sensitive skin.
