This scrubs is as simple as it can get, but if you are going to go to the effort of making your own sugar scrub exfoliant why not treat yourself and treat your skin by adding ingredients to suit your personal skin type. You would be surprised what a difference a scrub can make to the feel of your skin. So why do we need to scrub our faces and bodies? Exfoliation! Exfoliation refers to the removal of dead skin cells on the skin’s surface. They don’t just fall away on their own. When old skin cells start to pile up on the surface of the skin, it can leave skin looking dull, rough, and dry.
Exfoliation with a body or face sugar scrub can help boost the health and appearance of your skin. Some other ways to exfoliate your skin, especially hard to reach areas are with other types of products like an exfoliant brush or natural loofah,

Why should you use a sugar scrub?
Sugar scrubs are a natural exfoliant, helping to slough away dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. This can lead to brighter, smoother, and softer skin. Additionally, sugar contains glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that can help to improve skin texture and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Sugar scrubs also help to improve circulation and increase blood flow to the skin, which can help to improve skin tone and radiance. Finally, the natural oils used in sugar scrubs help to moisturize and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.
You can use a sugar scrub on your skin once or twice a week, depending on your skin type and sensitivity. If you have sensitive or dry skin, it’s best to use a sugar scrub less frequently, such as once a week. If you have oily or combination skin, you can use a sugar scrub twice a week to help exfoliate and remove excess oil. It’s important not to overuse sugar scrubs, as they can be abrasive and cause irritation or damage to the skin. It’s always best to start with a small amount and test it on a small patch of skin before using it all over your body.
