Resolution Setting Spell Bath Bomb: Manifest Your Goals for the Year Ahead

January 31, 2026 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

New Year Ritual for Intention Setting, Spiritual Clarity & Fresh Beginnings

The turning of the calendar isn’t just a practical reset—it’s a deeply energetic one. The New Year is a powerful portal for transformation, especially for witches and energy workers who align their goals with seasonal cycles. If you’re craving a spiritual cleanse and a motivating spark to chase your dreams, this Resolution Setting Spell Bath Bomb will help you turn your bathtub into a cauldron of clarity, courage, and manifestation.

This spell bath combines the uplifting energy of calendula and rosemary with intentional journaling, crystal energy, and color correspondences. It’s designed to help you set aligned, magical goals—not just resolutions based in pressure or productivity, but soul-fueled intentions that stick.

Whether you’re crafting a vision board or simply craving a ritual to mark the new chapter, this bath bomb spell invites you to slow down, soak deeply, and claim your direction.

 Purpose:

To set intentions for the year ahead using water magic, herbs, and a spell bath bomb ritual. Perfect for January 1st, a new moon, or your personal “reset” day.

 Scent Meaning:

  • Lemon or Grapefruit Essential Oil: Energizes, brings mental clarity, clears doubt
  • Rosemary Oil: Sharpens the mind, purifies energy, aligns thoughts with action

 Color & Ingredient Symbolism:

  • Calendula (Marigold Petals): Solar energy, growth, inner vision
  • Rosemary: Mental focus, protection, motivation
  • Yellow or Gold Mica: Solar radiance, success, manifestation
  • Bay Leaf (Optional): For writing wishes or goals to burn post-bath
  • Clear Quartz Crystal (Optional): Amplifies intention and aligns energy

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup citric acid
  • ½ cup Epsom salt or sea salt
  • 1 tbsp dried calendula petals
  • 1 tsp crushed dried rosemary
  • 10 drops lemon or grapefruit essential oil
  • 5 drops rosemary essential oil
  • ½ tsp yellow or gold mica (optional for glow)
  • 1 tsp melted coconut oil (optional binder)
  • Witch hazel in a spray bottle
  • Clear quartz chip (optional for inner clarity)

 Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix your baking soda, citric acid, salt, calendula, and rosemary.
  2. In a small dish, blend your essential oils with coconut oil (optional).
  3. Add oils to your dry mix and stir thoroughly.
  4. Add mica if using and combine until color is even.
  5. Lightly spritz with witch hazel while stirring until the mixture holds its shape when pressed.
  6. Press mixture firmly into bath bomb molds.
  7. If using a clear quartz chip, place it in the center of the mold before closing.
  8. Allow bath bombs to dry for at least 24 hours in a cool, dry place.

Ritual Use: Setting Intentions in the Bath

This spell is most powerful when paired with a journal, a candle, and a calm setting.

You’ll Need:

  • A yellow, white, or gold candle
  • A notebook and pen
  • Optional: Bay leaf and fire-safe bowl for goal-burning spell

Step-by-Step Ritual:

  1. Cleanse your space with incense or moon water to clear old energy.
  2. Light your candle and write 1–3 soul-led intentions for the year. Think growth, not pressure.
  3. Drop your bath bomb into the water and say aloud:

“As this water warms my body, my goals take shape with clarity.
With fire and light, I walk a path aligned and bright.”

  4. Soak in the bath, visualizing your life already aligned with your intentions.
  5. Optional: After the bath, burn a bay leaf with your written goals for extra energetic release.

 Post-Ritual Reflection

Wrap yourself in a warm towel and take a few minutes to journal anything that surfaced. You can even sketch a simple sigil representing your word or theme for the year and tape it to your mirror, altar, or planner.

This ritual isn’t about chasing unrealistic resolutions—it’s about stepping into your next chapter empowered, grounded, and guided.

This Resolution Setting Spell Bath Bomb brings your goals into the physical realm with intention, ritual, and self-love. It’s a gentle but powerful practice to reconnect with your purpose and embrace the energy of new beginnings.

Whether you’re building a daily witchcraft routine, manifesting abundance, or simply craving clarity, this spell bath is your sacred soak into 2026.
