Review: Fortune Cookie Soap

Oklahoma-based Fortune Cookie Soap is a small company that offers wonderful, fun products. Their products are made with 100% vegetable oils and are SLES/SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate/Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) free and none are tested on animals, just on themselves and their family. I had the opportunity to use several of their products & loved all of them.

The fortune cookie soaps are a fun novelty perfect for any occasion. I suggested them to a friend who was looking for unique wedding favors. Cinnamon rolled is a terrific smelling “flavor.” I also enjoyed the Red Hot Tamale and Buttered Popcorn soaps. You can order the cookie soaps with no packaging in which case they come in a little clear paper sack, or you can opt for the Chinese take-out packaging making them even more fun!

I also thoroughly enjoyed the Pink Watermelon Gelato Fizzy that softens your bath water with milk and sugar. It left my skin so soft & moisturized which was great.

I have never used solid shampoo, but the Hawaiian Ice Solid Shampoo Bar was quite a treat. Made with plant-based chemicals and the antioxidants in pineapple, this shampoo left my hair feeling clean, but not stripped like store-bought shampoos.

And to top it all off, I was able to treat myself to a nice bath complete with tea. Simply boil some water, steep the tea bag for several minutes, then pour into bath & enjoy. The Pamper Me Bath Tea, made of orange peel, chamomile, and green tea is the perfect way to unwind after a long, stressful week.

Fortune Cookie Soap offers a wide variety of excellent products I am happy to recommend to anyone. They are a great source for unique gifts, as well as a nice treat for yourself!
