Sara Freder is offering free Astrology readings, all you have to do is signup and send your info. I still recall and even have the paperwork of an Astrology reading from a machine around 35 years ago. It gave a full print out of how my life would be. Mostly it was correct, children, marriage and working in the creative industry. My teenager daughter has just begun taking an interest in her star signs and astrology and it got me wondering why we are attracted to seeking out the unknown. I think we are all just looking for direction, a sign that there is hope at the end of the tunnel. We don’t realize it but so many people are stuck in their dark tunnels, walking about doing everyday things, standing in the grocery line or dropping their kids off to school. A basic reminder that you should be kind. Be kind to everyone for we are all battling something.
I enjoyed my free astrology reading, not because I thought it was my legitimate life path, but it gave me a moment of hope, direction and distraction. Grab a cup of tea or wine sit down and take a moment to see where YOUR life may or may not be heading. Take a moment for a little me time.

If you’ve ever dipped your toe into astrology and wondered why your sun sign never quite captured your essence—or if you’ve been quietly obsessed with your birth chart since dial-up days—Jan Spiller’s Astrology for the Soul is one of those rare astrological texts that speaks directly to the heart of your spiritual journey.
Unlike your typical sun-sign fluff, this book dives headfirst into the North Nodes of the Moon, often called the soul’s evolutionary path. It’s not about your personality quirks or daily horoscopes; it’s about your purpose. The karmic lessons you’re here to learn. The traits and behaviors you’re meant to lean into—not because they come naturally, but because they’re part of your soul’s growth.
What I love most is how compassionate and practical Jan’s writing is. She doesn’t just toss out abstract cosmic jargon. Each chapter gently guides you through the struggles and strengths of your particular node placement, using real-life language and deeply human insights. It’s like having a wise mentor whispering, “You’ve got this—and here’s where to focus your energy.”
Whether you’re trying to break out of old patterns, heal relationship blocks, or just make sense of the strange pull you feel toward certain habits or people, this book gives you a soulful roadmap. I found myself dog-earing pages, underlining entire paragraphs, and reading aloud to my husband (who, by the way, totally resonated with his own node write-up).
This isn’t a quick read. It’s something to savour, revisit, and reflect on—especially during those “What am I even doing with my life?” kind of moments. The North Node placements help you understand the why behind your deepest urges and resistance, offering gentle but profound advice on how to step into your higher self.
